Online public training pre-scheduled for one hour

Our experienced trainer will show you how to work with STEM to create your first models, addressing pre-submitted questions (which you agree we may cite online later) subject to available time. This is actually a 90-minute slot via WebEx, including initial questions and closing discussion, with different times each week to suit most time zones.

Also starting from a blank screen, you can expect to work through the same topics as we would cover in an online demo, except that the onus will be more on how to do it than just what you can achieve. We will go into greater detail and stop to answer questions along the way. The inevitable consequence is that you might need to attend several sessions to cover all of these essential topics:

• the essential service, resource and location elements
• the most important menus and input categories
• customer demand forecasting
• incremental installation, inventory and utilisation of resources
• technical and financial outputs drawn as results graphs and tables
• the overhead of providing capacity in multiple, discrete locations
• operating costs, capital expenditure and depreciation
• allocated cost per customer and minimum service pricing
• the difference between profitability and cashflow
• net present value and break-even period
• creating scenarios to capture different business outcomes.
